How many FFT points do you earn in a P2000 tournament based on your finishing position?
The P2000 is a tier created for the 2027 season: the eight former P1500 events were renamed P2000. These are run directly by the FFT (one draw, women's or men's) and entries are cut on pair weight with no ranking restriction. The scale is unique — unlike P250 and below it does not depend on the number of pairs entered. The winner scores 2,000 points and 32nd place or below scores 60.

The French Tennis Federation (FFT) assigns ranking points to each player based on their results in sanctioned tournaments. Points depend on three criteria: the tournament category (P25, P50, P100, P250, P500 or P1000), the number of registered teams, and your final ranking. These points are accumulated over a season and determine your official ranking.
The number after the "P" indicates the tournament level. A P25 is a local tournament restricted to players ranked outside the men's TOP 30,000 (women's TOP 3,000), while a P1000 is open to all players with no ranking restriction. For example, the winner of a P1000 with 32 teams earns significantly more points than the winner of a P25 with the same number of teams. Above P1000, the FFT also defines P1500 and P2000 categories at the top of the circuit.
The more teams registered in a tournament, the higher the points awarded. A P100 tournament with 32 teams awards more points than a P100 with only 8 teams, because the competition is tougher. The FFT points table provides specific tiers based on team count (8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 48, 64, etc.).
The number of rewarded positions depends on the tournament category and the number of teams. Generally, teams finishing in the top half of the bracket receive points. For a small P25 tournament with 8 teams, only the top 4 positions earn points. For a large P1000 with 64 teams, points can be awarded up to 32nd place. Check the table above for exact point values.
